M&M's Yo-Yo
The M&M yo-yo is designed to hold and dispense candy M&Ms.
This project went through the design, manufacturing, and mass production stages.
Modeling and measuring
CNC Machining
Manufacturing the yo-yos involved milling aluminum molds for the injection molded and thermoformed parts.
Injection Molding
Short shots and plastic burns: we learned to optimize the molding process in this project.
Assembly
After assembly, we finished with over 50 working M&M yo-yos.
